PASTELS AND REFLECTIONS

Sometimes I just like to try new things. These are a few of them. I love the pastel drawings and will finish a complete series form photos my daughter and I took in the marketplace in Arles France. The light in the South of France in unlike anywhere else.

The reflections are an ongoing theme, although nowadays I seem to be putting an animal in the scene, whereas at first, I left out the things which were actually reflecting. I really liked that way better, for they were almost impressionistic in appearance, but you guys seem to like the item being reflected to show.........oh well.
